At the moment it looks like the remote does not work in iOS 5.
Once everything is released Corona & iOS5 I will look at adding the Gyroscope but at the moment im expecting that the remote ( or corona ) will need fixing for iOS5
I will update when I know more

Did gyro support ever get added? If not, does anyone know of any other tools that have it (and compass)?
